About the Post/Opportunity/Job
This is a purely contractual position for a period of one year, which may be extended for an additional year based on performance. The role is full-time, with standard hours from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, though work beyond these hours or on holidays may be required.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Monitor progress of court cases pending before the Supreme Court, High Courts, and other courts nationwide.
- Draft parawise replies, counter-affidavits, and applications for various petitions.
- Assist in drafting Bills and Acts for the Dte. GHS / MoHFW.
- Brief advocates and the Additional Solicitor General (ASG) and attend important court hearings.
- Handle legal matters related to the Clinical Establishments Act, NOTP, NTF, MVT, and Gender Change.
- Liaise with government officials, Central Government counsels, and standing counsels.
- Maintain a calendar of events and submit monthly progress reports.
Eligibility
- Qualification: Graduate Degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in legal matters, including at least 3 years with national or state government.
- Specific Skills: Experience handling High Court and Supreme Court matters; familiarity with public health systems and government policies like the National Health Programme.
- Age: Upper age limit of 55 years (as of the closing date).
Salary
Consolidated Remuneration: Rs 50,000/- per month.
