The corporation plays a crucial role in strengthening the country’s supply-chain infrastructure and frequently engages specialised professionals to support its operational and administrative needs.
2. About the Post / Opportunity
CWC has invited applications for the position of Young Professional (Legal) under its 2025 engagement programme. This is a contractual assignment for an initial period of two years, extendable by one additional year based on performance, making the maximum tenure three years. One position has been notified in the Legal stream, with placement in the Human Resources Division at the Corporate Office, New Delhi.
3. Roles and Responsibilities
The role demands exposure to a broad spectrum of legal work relevant to a large public sector logistics organisation. The Young Professional (Legal) will assist in matters related to contract law, labour and service rules, corporate and commercial laws, and arbitration. The responsibilities include drafting and vetting agreements, examining regulatory compliance issues, preparing legal opinions, and supporting day-to-day documentation. Strong analytical abilities, sound legal interpretation, and clear communication skills are essential for this role.
4. Eligibility
Applicants must possess a full-time LLB or LLM degree from a recognised university. The qualification must be complete and supported by a degree certificate or provisional certificate along with corresponding mark sheets.
5. Experience
CWC accepts applications from candidates with 0 to 3 years of post-qualification legal experience, as well as those having more than 3 years of relevant exposure. Only verifiable, post-qualification and legally relevant experience will be considered. Experience claimed must be supported by proper certificates; salary slips or informal proof will not be accepted.
6. Compensation / Salary
The consolidated monthly remuneration is fixed at ₹50,000 for candidates with up to three years of experience, and ₹60,000 for those exceeding that threshold. The amount is inclusive of all taxes, and no additional allowances or facilities are provided. For official travel, candidates will be entitled to TA/DA corresponding to E-2 grade (for 0–3 years experience) and E-3 grade (for more than 3 years experience).

8. Selection Process
