About the Post / Opportunity

HPNLU invites online applications from eligible candidates for engagement as Research Associates of Law on a contractual basis. The selected candidates will assist in the University's teaching, research, and academic activities and work closely with faculty members on legal research projects.

Roles and Responsibilities

● Assisting faculty members in teaching and research activities

● Undertaking legal research and academic writing assignments

● Supporting research projects, publications, and conferences

● Assisting in curriculum-related and academic work

● Performing duties assigned by the University in connection with teaching and research functions

Eligibility

Educational Qualification

Candidates must fulfil the qualifications prescribed for appointment as Assistant Professor under the UGC Regulations, 2018, namely:

LL.M. with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade on a point scale wherever grading system is followed); and

Must have cleared UGC-NET / SLET / SET.

OR

Ph.D. in Law in accordance with the UGC Regulations, with exemption from the NET/SLET/SET requirement.

Additional Conditions

● Applicant should not be engaged elsewhere on a salary or honorarium basis.

● Applicant should not be involved in any criminal case involving moral turpitude.

● Applicant should not be facing disciplinary proceedings before the Bar Council or any competent authority.
