The Armed Forces Tribunal (AFT) is a statutory body under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India. The Regional Bench in Lucknow exercises jurisdiction over legal and service matters related to personnel of the Army, Navy, and Air Force within its specified region. It adjudicated disputes and complaints regarding commissions, appointments, enrollments, and service conditions.

Vacancy Details

• Post Name: Section Officer / Tribunal Officer (General Central Services Group 'B' Gazetted, Non-Ministerial).

• Number of Posts: 02 (Two).

• Location: Armed Forces Tribunal, Regional Bench, 3 R.A.K. Marg, PO-Dilkusha, Lucknow-226002 (UP).

• Remuneration (Pay Scale): Pay Matrix Level-7 of the 7th CPC (Rs. 44,900 – 1,42,400).

• Nature of Appointment: Deputation basis for an initial period of three years.

Education and Qualifications

1.  Essential Educational Qualification: A Degree from a recognized University.

2.  Essential Experience: At least 2 years of experience in personnel, administrative, or judicial work.

3.  Desirable Qualification: A Degree in Law.

4.  Service Eligibility: Candidates must be officials working under the Central Government, State Government, Supreme Court, High Courts, Subordinate Courts, or Statutory/Autonomous bodies with pensionary benefits who are: Holding an       analogous post on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department; OR                            Holding a post in Level-5 of the Pay Matrix (Rs. 29,200 – 92,300) with 5 years of regular service in the grade.
