About the Post / Opportunity

The circular is for drawing up a panel of names for filling up existing/future vacancies on a deputation basis.

• Posts: Legal Officer, Research Officer, Assistant, and Librarian & Information Assistant.
• Initial Period of Deputation: Three years.
• Method of Recruitment: Deputation basis.

Legal Officer 'A' Gazetted

Pay Scale/Pay Matrix: 

Level-11 (Rs. 67,700-2,08,700) 

The appointment is on deputation, and candidates must be officers of the Central Government or State Government or Union Territory Administrations or public sector undertakings or Universities or recognised research institutions or Semi-Government or autonomous bodies or statutory organisations, unless otherwise specified.

• Maximum Age Limit for Deputation: Not exceeding fifty-six years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.
• Period of Deputation: Shall ordinarily not exceed three years.

1. Legal Officer (Group 'A', Level-11) 

Officers holding analogous posts on a regular basis, OR with five years of regular service in Level-10 (Rs. 56,100-1,77,500) or equivalent.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Law and six years' experience in legal matters, OR
• Master's degree in Law and five years' experience in legal matters.

• Vigilance clearance.
