About the Post / Opportunity
NLU Delhi is seeking to engage two Assistant Professors on a contractual basis, one each in Public Law and Technology Law. These positions are programme-based, self-financing contractual appointments and are not part of the regular sanctioned posts.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Teaching and coordinating the UG and PG programme.
• Leading and co-coordinating the LL.M. programme curriculum, workshops, and seminars.
• Assisting in the development and delivery of content in technology law, policy, and governance.
• Conducting research in the interdisciplinary field of law, technology, and governance, and performing any other work assigned by the University administration.

Eligibility

• Qualification: LL.M. with at least 55 percent marks or equivalent with a strong academic record from a recognized university.
• Additional Requirement: UGC-NET/SLAT (Law) or Ph.D. in a relevant discipline as per UGC Regulations.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of teaching and research experience in Public Law / Technology Law and related areas.
• Other: Quality publications in relevant fields are required, and for Technology Law, experience in teaching specialized areas of Technology/Cyber Laws is preferable.

Salary / Perks

• Remuneration: Rs. 90,000 per month.
• Tax Deduction: TDS at 10 percent under Section 194J of the Income Tax Act, 1961 will be deducted.
• Tenure: Initial appointment for six months, extendable based on satisfactory performance and availability of funds.
• Other: No additional benefits or perks will be provided.
