About the Post / Opportunity
CERSAI is recruiting one regular employee for the post of Assistant General Manager (Legal), grade E-4, to handle legal matters, litigation, drafting, and regulatory compliance for the organisation. This is a permanent CERSAI employee position (not bank deputation).

Roles and Responsibilities
● Handling all legal issues/litigation raised against CERSAI in any court.
● Examining and reporting on legal risk of matters raised by Reporting Entities, Regulators, DFS, and other stakeholders.
● Responding to stakeholder queries citing prevailing law.
● Coordinating with advocates/tax consultants handling CERSAI's litigation.
● Any other legal work assigned by CERSAI from time to time.
Eligibility
Educational Qualification
● LLB/Bachelor of Law (3-year/5-year full-time) from a UGC-recognized university or equivalent, minimum 50% marks.
● Desirable certification: Full-time LL.M. from a UGC-recognized university (or equivalent), minimum 50% marks.
Experience
● Minimum 11 years' post-qualification experience in a Scheduled Commercial Bank or any other PSU/CPSE/private organisation of repute, in legal research, corporate law, contract management, or legal compliance.
● For practicing advocates, experience is counted from the date of Bar Council membership.
● Only full-time work experience counts; internships/apprenticeships/academic training are excluded.
Salary / Perks
● Scale of Pay: ₹70,000–₹2,00,000 (E-4 grade), plus DA (IDA scale of CPSEs), HRA, and cafeteria basket allowances as per Govt. guidelines/Board approval.
● Approximate CTC: ₹21 lakhs per annum.
