Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBPF), operating under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India. The post has all-India liability, and selected candidates will be governed by the ITBPF Act, 1992, and the Rules, 1994.

About the Post / Opportunity 

The position is for Deputy Judge Attorney General (Deputy Commandant), classified as General Central Service Group 'A' Gazetted, Non-Ministerial. The appointment is on a temporary basis, but it is likely to become permanent.

Educational & Experience Requirements:

Candidates must meet the following:

• Essential Qualification: A Bachelor's Degree in Law from a recognized University or equivalent.
• Essential Experience (for Law Graduates): Seven years of experience in Legal practice. OR Essential Qualification (for Post Graduates): A Master's Degree in Law. Essential Experience (for Post Graduates): Five years of experience in legal practice.
• The candidate must also be qualified for enrolment as an Advocate.
• Desirable Qualification: A Post Graduate Degree in Law and two years of experience dealing with trials under special laws related to the Armed Forces.
• Experience Certificate: Only experience certificates issued by Government departments/organizations or PSUs will be accepted.

Salary and Benefits

• Pay Scale: The position is in Level-11 of the Pay Matrix, corresponding to a salary range of Rs. 67,700 – 2,08,700 (as per the 7th CPC).
• Allowances: The post includes various allowances such as Dearness Allowance, Special Compensatory Allowance, HRA, Transport Allowance, Leave Travel Concession, and Free Medical Facilities.
• Pension: Candidates will be covered under either the New Defined Contribution Pension Scheme (NPS) or the Unified Pension Scheme (UPS).
