About the Post / Opportunity
Odisha Mining Corporation Ltd. invites online applications from eligible and experienced legal professionals for recruitment to the post of Deputy General Manager (Legal) in the E-5 grade.
The position is a regular executive post involving senior-level legal advisory, compliance, and litigation management functions within the Corporation.

Roles and Responsibilities
● Handling legal advisory and compliance matters of the Corporation
● Managing and supervising litigation before High Courts, District Courts, and other judicial / quasi-judicial bodies
● Drafting, vetting, and reviewing contracts, agreements, pleadings, and legal documents
● Advising management on statutory compliance and legal risk management, particularly in the mining and manufacturing sector
● Coordinating with external advocates, law firms, and regulatory authorities
● Any other legal responsibilities assigned by the competent authority

Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognised University

Experience

Minimum 18 years of relevant post-qualification experience as:

Practising Advocate in High Court / District Court, or

Law Officer in Government / State PSU / Central PSU / reputed Corporate House / incorporated company

In-depth understanding of legal compliance frameworks in large manufacturing or mining sector organisations

Salary / Perks
● Pay Scale: ₹78,800 – ₹2,09,200
● Grade: E-5
● Pay Level: Level-14
● Initial Basic Pay: ₹1,05,900 (Cell-11)
In addition to Basic Pay, selected candidates will be entitled to:
