Roles and Responsibilities: 

1) Conducting inspections and investigations into suspected violations of securities laws.

2) Assisting in the development and implementation of new regulations and policies (Policy Formulation).

3)  Overseeing the stock exchange, identifying, and prosecuting any malpractices within the Securities Markets.

4) Protecting the interests of investors and ensuring a fair and transparent market.
