About the Organisation

The Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy (CCRH) is an autonomous body under the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India. It is engaged in the formulation, coordination, development, and promotion of research in Homoeopathy on a scientific basis. The Council operates through a network of institutes and units located across the country, conducting clinical, drug, and fundamental research to enhance the credibility and application of Homoeopathy in healthcare.

About the Post / Opportunity

Applications are invited from qualified and experienced candidates for engagement as Consultant (Legal) on a contractual basis at the Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy (CCRH), New Delhi. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to the legal, administrative, and regulatory functions of the Council in line with the policies of the Ministry of AYUSH.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist the Council in court cases and other matters requiring legal examination.
• Handle cases related to CAT, High Court, and Supreme Court.
• Draft and vet legal documents, including tenders, contracts, MoUs, and agreements.
• Prepare para-wise comments and coordinate with Standing Counsel for drafting counter affidavits.
• Provide legal inputs and advice on administrative, establishment, contractual, vigilance, and arbitration matters.
• Maintain a database of ongoing and disposed court cases and monitor pending cases.
• Attend court hearings and represent the Council as needed.
• Undertake any other work as assigned related to legal or administrative domains.

Eligibility

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized University.

Experience:
• For Retired Government Employees – Retired Officer from the level of Section Officer/Under Secretary/Deputy Secretary/Director or equivalent in Central Government/Attached Subordinate Offices/Central Autonomous Bodies with at least 5 years of experience.
• For Open Market Candidates – Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in handling legal matters, preferably related to Government or Public Sector Undertakings.

Experience Areas:
• Court/Arbitration cases at CAT, High Court, and Supreme Court levels.
• Recruitment, establishment, contractual, administrative, accounts, and vigilance matters.
• Legal vetting of tender/contract/MoU agreements.
• Government administrative and regulatory compliance.
• Strong drafting, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills.

Salary / Perks

• Through Open Market: ₹50,000 per month with 3% annual increment.
• For Retired Government Employees: Last pay drawn minus basic pension plus applicable Transport Allowance (as per Ministry of AYUSH guidelines dated 01.04.2023).
• No increment or DA is admissible for retired officials.

Location

CCRH Head Office, New Delhi, or any of its Regional Research Institutes (RRIs) or Central Research Institutes (CRIs) located across India, as per the Council’s requirement.
