ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY 

The Supreme Court of India invites online applications from eligible Indian citizens to form a panel to fill tentative vacancies for the post of Junior Court Assistant (Group-B, Non-Gazetted). The selection process has four stages: an Objective Type Written Test (MCQs), a Computer Typing Speed Test, a Written Descriptive Test in English, and an Interview. 

ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION

The Supreme Court of India is the highest judicial forum and final court of appeal under the Constitution of India. It functions as the apex constitutional court with powers of judicial review.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree from a recognized University in India. 

• Technical Skills: Knowledge of computer operations with a minimum typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English on a computer. 

• Age Limit (as on 01.09.2026):

Minimum Age: 18 years 

Maximum Age: 30 years 

Relaxations: Standard age relaxations apply for SC, ST, OBC (NCL), Persons with Disabilities, Ex-Servicemen, and dependents of freedom fighters (up to 5 years) as per Government Rules. No upper age limit for departmental candidates of the Supreme Court Registry. 

SALARY / PERKS

• Pay Level: Level 6 of Pay Matrix 

• Initial Basic Pay: ₹35,400/- per month plus admissible allowances. 

PROCEDURE FOR APPLICATION

2. Navigate to the Recruitment link and complete the online application registration. 

3. Upload scanned copies of the required documents (recent photograph, signature, Class Xth, XIIth, Graduation certificates, and category/disability certificates, if applicable). 

4. Pay the non-refundable application fee online through the UCO Bank payment gateway: 

 

General/Unreserved: ₹1,500/- (plus bank charges) 

SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/Ex-Servicemen/PH: ₹750/- (plus bank charges) 

 

5. Preview and submit the form, then save/print a copy of the completed application form for reference.
