Roles and Responsibilities

Director – Legal

Head and manage the legal department

Provide strategic legal advice and ensure compliance

Handle litigation, arbitration, and court matters

Draft and review contracts, agreements, and legal documents

Represent ICAI before courts and authorities

Assist in amendments to CA Act and regulations

Executive Officer – Legal

Conduct legal research on civil, corporate, and regulatory laws

Draft contracts, notices, affidavits, and policy documents

Assist in litigation and coordinate with legal counsels

Ensure compliance with laws like Companies Act, CA Act, SEBI, RBI, FEMA

Support disciplinary proceedings and regulatory matters

Liaise with stakeholders and provide legal support

Eligibility

Director – Legal

Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB)

Minimum 22 years of post-qualification experience

Current CTC ≥ ₹38 LPA

Maximum age: 55 years

Executive Officer – Legal

Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB)

No prior experience required

Maximum age: 25 years

Salary

Executive Officer – Legal: Approx. ₹15.51 LPA (Pay Level 10)
