About the Organisation

The National Financial Reporting Authority (NFRA) is a statutory regulatory body constituted under Section 132 of the Companies Act, 2013. It oversees accounting and auditing standards, monitors compliance, and promotes transparency and accountability in financial reporting.

About the Post

The post of Young Professional (Legal) is offered on a contractual basis to assist NFRA in legal research, drafting, vetting, handling legal databases and other legal functions while working with senior officers.

Qualification / Experience

• Essential: LL.B. from a recognized University/Institute or 5-year integrated B.A. LL.B.
• Desirable: LL.M. (preferably in Corporate Law).
• Minimum one year post-qualification experience in legal matters.
• Excellent legal research, drafting of petitions/counter affidavits and computer proficiency.
• Experience in Government/Statutory Bodies is desirable.

Honorarium

Consolidated remuneration of ₹70,000 per month for the first year. Performance-based enhancement up to 10% in subsequent years.

Nature of Engagement

Full-time contractual engagement for an initial period of two years, extendable annually up to a maximum tenure of five years based on performance. Posting will ordinarily be at New Delhi.

Selection Procedure

Selection may comprise a Written Assessment Test, Interview/Personal Interaction, or both.
