Legal Researchers are sought for academic and application-oriented research projects broadly covering:

• Company, Insolvency
• Banking and Securities Law
• Indian Contract Law
• Legal and Judicial Reforms

This is a contract position offering exposure to high-quality, policy-relevant research alongside a results-oriented team.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Carry out legal research in the assigned domains (company, insolvency, banking, securities, contract law, judicial reforms)
• Draft research memoranda, policy papers, and academic manuscripts
• Support the research activities of Prof. M P Ram Mohan and related project teams
• Contribute to ongoing academic and application-oriented projects
• Engage in critical analysis and writing work

Eligibility

• Law graduate (LL.B. or equivalent)
• 0–2 years of professional experience
• Demonstrated legal research and writing skills
• Interest in legal and judicial reforms, policy, and academia
• Strong analytical skills and teamwork orientation

Salary / Perks

Compensation as per IIMA’s policy, commensurate with qualification and experience (approximate range usually ₹70,000+ per month, not officially confirmed in this call).​
