About the Organisation

Hindustan Urvarak & Rasayan Limited (HURL) is a joint venture company promoted by Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), NTPC Limited (NTPC), Coal India Limited (CIL), Fertilizer Corporation of India Limited (FCIL), and Hindustan Fertilizer Corporation Limited (HFCL). Its mandate is to establish and operate state-of-the-art, environment-friendly, and energy-efficient natural gas-based fertilizer complexes (Ammonia-Urea) at Gorakhpur (Uttar Pradesh), Sindri (Jharkhand), and Barauni (Bihar), with a combined capacity of 1.27 MMTPA neem-coated urea. HURL also markets its products, contributing to national economic growth.

About the Post / Opportunity

HURL is inviting applications for Legal positions on a Fixed Term Contract (FTC) basis. These roles are critical for managing legal, arbitration, contract vetting, and service-related matters in a large company of repute.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Handling legal matters, arbitration, and litigation.
  • Vetting of contracts and agreements.
  • Managing service-related legal issues in a large company.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and advising on legal documentation.
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Supporting management in legal risk assessment and mitigation.

Eligibility

  • Educational Qualification:
    • 3-year Bachelor Degree in Law (LLB) OR 5-year integrated law degree, full-time, from a recognized Indian University/Institute with minimum 60% marks.
  • Experience Requirements:
    • Sr. Manager (Legal): Minimum 14 years post-qualification experience.
    • Manager (Legal): Minimum 12 years post-qualification experience.
    • Officer (Legal): Minimum 05 years post-qualification experience.
    • Assistant Officer (Legal): Minimum 03 years post-qualification experience.
