Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct prosecution in criminal courts on behalf of the State.
- Assist senior prosecutors, draft pleadings, and prepare case materials.
- Ensure fair trial and uphold justice in criminal proceedings.
Eligibility
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in any subject + Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB/BL).
- Experience: Minimum 3 years active practice as an Advocate in Criminal Courts in Telangana (must be a practicing advocate as of notification date: 15-08-2025).
- Age: Max 34 years as on 01-07-2025 (relaxations available: SC/ST/BC/EWS – 5 years; PwD – 10 years; others as per rules).
- Medical: Must be of sound health; not suffering from speech/hearing/sight impairment.

Selection Process
- Written Examination:
- Paper I (Objective, 200 Qs, 200 Marks)
- Paper II (Descriptive, 200 Marks, emphasis on pleading & drafting)
- Negative marking: 0.25 per wrong answer in Paper I.
- Must qualify both papers (40% OC/EWS, 35?, 30% SC/ST/PwD).
- Final selection based on aggregate marks (400) + reservations/local quota.
