The department implements various initiatives and schemes aimed at improving access to justice and enhancing the efficiency of judicial institutions.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Applications are invited for engagement of Consultants on a contractual basis for the Project Monitoring Unit (PMU) under the Designing Innovative Solutions for Holistic Access to Justice (DISHA) Scheme of the Department of Justice. The engagement will initially be up to 31 March 2026, which may be extended depending on the requirements of the department and satisfactory performance.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Program Manager (LLLAP)
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Law or Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science from a recognised university.
Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in Government of India/State Government/Ministries/Departments/PSUs handling projects or schemes with pan-India or pan-state implications, preferably development projects involving rural communities and civil society organisations. Experience in monitoring and evaluation frameworks, financial monitoring, reporting, and documentation is desirable. Candidates should possess strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Age Limit: Not more than 45 years as on the date of publication of advertisement.
Program Associate
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Law.
Experience: Freshers may apply. Preference will be given to candidates having experience or exposure in the social or development sector, particularly those with on-ground engagement with partners such as social enterprises or development organisations. Candidates should possess analytical, communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Age Limit: Not more than 40 years as on the date of publication of advertisement.
METHOD OF RECRUITMENT
Engagement will be on contract basis through open market selection.
TENURE
The engagement will be purely contractual and initially valid up to 31 March 2026 from the date of joining. The contract may be extended on a year-to-year basis depending on performance and requirement of the Department.

ANNUAL INCREMENT
Consultants may receive an increment of up to 10% upon completion of one year of continuous engagement based on satisfactory performance.
LEAVE
Consultants will be entitled to 12 days of leave per year on a pro-rata basis. Additional leave without pay may be granted with approval of the reporting officer.
TA/DA
No TA/DA will be admissible for joining or completion of assignment. However, TA/DA will be admissible for official travel related to work as per applicable rules.
