About the Organisation
The Indian Army invites applications from eligible unmarried male and unmarried female law graduates for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in the Judge Advocate General (JAG) Branch through JAG Entry Scheme – 124th Course (October 2026).

Eligibility Criteria
A. Nationality
Candidates must be:

Citizens of India, OR

Subjects of Nepal, OR
-
Persons of Indian origin who migrated from specified countries with eligibility certificate (as per Govt. of India norms)
B. Age Limit
-
21 to 27 years as on 01 July 2026
-
Born not earlier than 02 July 1999 and not later than 01 July 2005 (both dates inclusive)
C. Educational Qualification
-
LLB Degree (3-year after graduation OR 5-year after 10+2)
-
Minimum 55% aggregate marks
-
CLAT PG 2025 score is mandatory
-
Must be eligible for enrolment as an Advocate with the Bar Council of India / State Bar Council
-
Degree must be from a BCI-recognised University/College
